Happy Leap Day!

It was not until yesterday that I became aware of what special year it happens to be. I know, I really should pay more attention to things like adding a whole extra day to our year, but honestly, I just didn’t notice! My family, like many others around here, has been stuck for the last couple weeks with the flu (the cough/fever variety) and in my warp zone of couches and kleenex and dayquil I haven’t noticed much in the way of world events…like for instance, leap year. I HAVE instead, memorized the daily schedule of HGTV and the Disney Channel (including Charlie and Lola…my absolutely completely favorite new show!)

Anyway, here are some photos from a pre-flu shoot. This little dude was so fun to photograph. He has such a classic Gerber baby look. Enjoy!

Here she is: the only girl

I know I have mentioned my plethora of nephews on my photo blog, but I neglected to mention the exception to the rule…my sweet little niece, Ava. She is the only girl among the SEVEN boy cousins born to date. She comes over to our house to play once a week, and I pretty much always spend about an hour following her around with my camera. Here are some of my favorites from the last few weeks.
