Another newborn!

You may recognize this beautiful mama and papa from a post of a maternity shoot a month or so ago. Here are some photos of her new little one. He was so fun to photograph! I actually have too many favorites to post!

Surprise!

This little boy actually decided to start making his way into the world on the day his mom had booked her maternity session. Imagine my surprise when I got a message that morning saying “I think we have to cancel my maternity session because I am going to the hospital!”

I [heart] freckles!

We just got back from vacation last week at my husband’s family cabin, where we spent a lot of time in the sun. I noticed my husband’s freckles coming to the surface and remarked about how cute they were. Later that day, I noticed my 3 year old had a couple of freckles showing on his face for the first time…  I was so excited. I think he is going to have freckles like his dad!

Anyway, the reason why I am saying all of this is because the last two HS senior girls I have photographed have had the most beautiful freckles. I have heard of people getting laser treatment for the removal of freckles, but I say STOP THE MADNESS!!

Freckles are beautiful!!! See what I mean???!

This maternity session was so fun.  The expectant parents were full of anticipation for this new little one. And they didn’t have to wait long…Although her due date wasn’t until August 17th, they became parents the weekend after this photo shoot (3 1/2 weeks early)!  I am so glad we didn’t wait any longer to do this shoot!!
