Here is Kate, a 2010 senior. When I met Kate, I was immediately surprised by how tall she was and very thankful that I had decided to bring my step-stool! (And, by the way, Kelsey, you could have warned me!! lol!) I was also thrilled with her location choices, and at how comfortable she was in front of the camera. Kate is an animal lover, and we spent some time photographing her with her horses. We had a wonderfully long session that ended at sunset in a wheat field. It doesn’t get any better than that.
Sometimes, when I think about my job, I am overwhelmed by how blessed I am. I get to do what I love every day! I get to meet wonderful people and spend my time doing what I am so passionate about–photography. This career is anything but boring! I still get goose-bumps when I get that perfect shot, and it still feels like Christmas when I see the photos for the first time. And I never want to take it for granted. I am blessed.

On another note, I will be out of the office for the next few days. My husband and I are celebrating our 10 year anniversary, and we are super excited for some time away together (sans kids!) Anyway, I will be returning emails and phone calls when I get back.
