All I can think is “Broseph”

9 02 2009

So I am about to post some very sweet photos of a newborn baby boy, and all that comes to mind is “Broseph.” My husband Grant has 4 brothers and for some reason, they often call each other “Broseph.” Why or how this came about, I have no idea. Brother + Joseph= Broseph?  (I know you are thinking, one of his brother’s names must be Joe, or Joseph. Nope.) And sometimes it takes on other endings, like for instance, “Brosephious” (Bro-see-fee-us). WHAT?!?!

Anyway, even though this sweet little one has nothing to do with my husband’s immature shenanigans, I can’t get that word out of my head. You may remember baby Maddie, from a previous post…WELL, introducing baby Maddie’s little “Broseph”…

Another newborn!

You may recognize this beautiful mama and papa from a post of a maternity shoot a month or so ago. Here are some photos of her new little one. He was so fun to photograph! I actually have too many favorites to post!

Surprise!

This little boy actually decided to start making his way into the world on the day his mom had booked her maternity session. Imagine my surprise when I got a message that morning saying “I think we have to cancel my maternity session because I am going to the hospital!”

Here are some photos from the newborn shoot a couple weeks later…

Tiny humans…

I don’t know what it is about newborns, but when I get calls/emails for newborn shoots, I get so excited! There is just something about being able to introduce a face to the world that only a few people have seen…a new person who just started life! How cool is that?! (And who doesn’t love to hold a newborn baby?)
